The Yearly Affair
It has since became a yearly affair. All the gals and the women in the family would go for a high tea reception to celebrate Mothers' Day. The boys did contribute in the expenses of course. Haha..
So yesterday all of us gathered @ the Raffles Plaza Ballroom. Everyone came late naturally. Me and my mom were the 1st to arrive and ours was the only empty table. With the cold dishes already served. Hehe..
Kudos to the organizing committee this year. It was definitely much more well-prepared this time round. And we managed to get a better table this year. My complaints? The function seems to be very rushed this year. The host was seen checking his watch umpteen times. The ending was also very abrupt. And got everyone wondering whether the celebrities would be making their final appearance for their ardent fans.
I got a handmade bouquet from my little one last Thursday. Yet to grasp the concept of Mothers' Day, he wished me a Happy Birthday when i called from the office :)
Next weekend they will be showing the P Ramlee the Musical. I don't mind catching it since it is a long weekend after all. Reviews seem to be good. And i did enjoyed the Puteri Gunung Ledang Musical very much. But the husband isn't keen on going. Hmm ...
