Sadness Part 1
It was a normal week for our family till the Husband dropped a bombshell on the Wife. It went like this. Or something to that effect.
On the bed just before bedtime..
Husband: Oh yah.. there's something I need to tell you.
Wife: Uh huh?
Husband: Company's sending me and 2 other Chinese guys from my team to France for a course.
Wife: Oh? (in her head: What?!?!)
Husband: It's a small city actually. Toulouse. Heard the place is real boring.
Wife: When?? Can i come along?? (in her head: And Hilman too?? We'll be good!! We promise!!)
Well anyway, the Husband will probably be sent to France in Sept. He may have to spend the beginning of Ramadhan in France, looking at the current plan. Won't be surprised if there will be changes along the way. I am quite familiar with their so-called system.
Sigh.. It sure dampens my mood man. Sure, there are some nights we arent together due to his work nature. But at least we get to have breakfast or lunch or supper together. Looking back, we have never been apart since we wed.
I would love to tag along with Hilman. But I just dont think it is a wise choice. Firstly, he will after all be on course almost the whole day. I will be bored to bits if me and Hilman are confined to the hotel room for a whole day. It's ok if we are in a country where people speak English. But France? Cos at least we'll have the tv to watch. And knowing myself, I would probaby venture out with Hilman during the day. Heck! Bet even Barney will be in French. Not to mention, what's a vacation when you cant eat or drink?
So I would rather save that money on a real vacation instead. Although I am gonna miss you like crazy.
So Husband, as a good wife like always, I give you my blessings although it's with a heavy heart. What am I gonna do without you?? Gawd. I can imagine Hilman will also be confused when the Daddy suddenly goes away for such a long period. Hey! We have never been apart so 10 days is considered an eternity for us.
Usually I look forward to birthdays. And ironically it is the Husband's birthday next in September. Now i am just dreading it.. :(

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

Ok call me fickle-minded. When they first started selling the Phantom tixs to the public, I was like, ah f*** it. So freaking ex. Esp with our holiday and all.
And just earlier, i was surfing in the Sistic website. And they just released more tixs. And man, ppl are buying them like goreng pisang. It is now sold out by the way.
Anyway yours truly, being a Saggi babe (We Saggis are very famous for being indecisive and very spontaneous. My darling hubby can vouch on that.) decided to jump in the bandwagon and joined the party. So now I am 300 bux poorer (Haf to buy for my other half as well, hokay! Consider it as another Anniversary gift k darl?). But hopefully it will be worth it. Looking at the rave reviews, I have confidence that we both will enjoy it.
And just 2 days ago, I got my darling cousin Ijat to go Muzika Records to get the APM tixs for me and Mus. Hubby isnt interested so I asked along a girlfriend lor. I was just telling my colleague that I have never watched APM live before. And she was shocked. Haha. The only reasons why I am bothered to go are 1) For 60 bux, it is quite worth it since it's almost like watching a live concert with a considerable no of artistes performing and 2) Heard there wont be a live telecast this yr (have yet to verify this). So anyway, thks Ijat! Heard the price will increase by 2 bux for those who purchase from today onwards. I have checked the seating plan and the seats u got us look quite good.
So I am back at work now. We now have to do all scanning ourselves now. Sob sob! No more temp staffs to assist us. But I think we'll get the hang of it soon enough. I for one aint letting my spirits dampen just cos of work alone.
So looks like May and June there will be quite a handful of activies for us. With the Phantom, APM, Meike's engagement and some weddings. Movie wise, I am waiting for Ocean's Thirteen. And we will be catching that Malay horror flick tonight. Must see for myself how scary it is. The warning from the Malaysian Censorship Board really tak boleh angkat. Hehehe... ;p
Cant resist adding this bit. Was on the line with a gal friend earlier. And she commented that I seem so free and happy all the time. And I dont seem bogged down with my son and hubby. Haha. Gal, I do enjoy life WITH the 2 loves of my life. We go out together you know. My son now can watch movies with us even. Dah training lah. I try my best to bring Hilman wherever we go. When we do have our couple time, it is mostly at night (more romantic also right??). When he is ready for his bedtime. And we ensure that we have quality time together in the day. So it is all about striking a balance! So for those contemplating abt getting married or having kids, don't worry too much! Married people with kids do have fun too! ;p
With that said, Enjoy the Weekend!!! And more imptly, Happy Mothers' Day!!!
