WE'RE BACK!!!

...and we're so suffering from jet-lag. And still have yet to adjust back to local SG time. The three of us were fooling around last night till about 2+am. I had to force Hilman to sleep again although he had just woken up from a 9-hours nap at 1am. Haha...

Sorry peeps. This time we didn't get much souvenirs for you guys. So ex lah dey!!

Mostly shopped on Hilman's clothings, Mama's Victoria Secrets and Coach stuffs. Papa bought some Levi's jeans (like finally!!! He is so anti-Levi's. Complains that it is expensive but yet he doesn't mind paying more for other labels. Haha!).

Anyway, the trip was so fab!!!! It was definitely worth the 19 hrs plane ride. NYC is a beautiful place. It was especially surreal to me. Felt like we were in a movie setting or something. Love it, love it, love it!!!

We managed to cover almost everything in NYC except Ellis Island (where the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Museum are). We have pre-booked the tixs but due to time constraints, we decided to skip it. And since we had already taken the Staten Island ferry ride where we already got a pretty good view of the SOL, we opted to spend our last couple of days in NYC shopping instead.

And Niagara Falls was so gorgeous!!! I had always wanted to go there since I was 11. So thanks baby for making my dream come true!!! Hilman loves it so much he was running around everywhere. He especially enjoyed the chilly weather. While the omputih all are covered with thick clothings, my son bravely ran around in a thin t-shirt. Sheesh.
Luckily, we decided to got to the Canadian side of the Falls cos it was much more prettier than the American side. We passed by and saw it was pretty messy and seedy. And it was well worth the money we spent on the accommodation there. The view from the room was so prettyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Very the romantic one!!! So it was a splurge well-spent. ;p

No time to post much pictures today cos we have to prepare for Hilman's 2nd birthday bash tomorrow. Everything is so last minute since we just got back yesterday morning. Let's hope everything turns out fine. Oh No!! He is already 2!!! Erks!!! So fast!!!

I pray no one will be asking tomorrow when Baby No 2 will be coming up. Cos don't think we will have another till he is at least 3?!?!

And it is our 3rd Wedding Anniversary tomorrow!!! WooHoooo~!!! Both husband and wife have agreed no presents are necessary. The trip and all the shopping is our gift for each other. Hehe.. So tomorrow we will prob just head to The Carousel for a hopefully romantic dinner.

PS: Btw, when they say do not buy kebabs off the streetcarts in NYC, it is TRUE!!! Yours truly decided to be brave and had some kebabs together with some spice rice. And I had a horrible diarrhea right after. Practically ran along the streets in Harlem with Hilman's stroller to the nearest McDonalds to relieve myself. And not to mention, had to fight with 2 African-Americansto let me use the loo first. Had no idea I had such guts. Haha..

Yayyy!!! I am officially on my 1 mth's leave already. Been so long since I had a long break. Hmm since Hilman's birth actually.

Ironically, I feel stumped not knowing what to do now that I am on this break. Found myself asking Hubby numerous times whether there is anything that needs to be done. Haha!

Let's see... renew motor insurance & rd tax? Check. Credit Card bills? Check. Other bills? By Giro so no prob. Bookings for plane tixs for trip? Check. Bookings for Grayline tour bus? Check. Bookings for train tixs to Canada? Check. Hilman's winter clothings? Check. Super big luggage for the 2 of us? Now thaaat we'll need to borrow from Mama & Abah. Cos Hilman's stuffs alone will prob fit into the biggest luggage that we have. Haha..

Well anyway, today was Hilman's last day at MMI @ Jurong East. Insya Allah, we will be transferring him to another Montessori school in CCK. So we had a farewell cum very early birthday celebration for him with his MMI classmates earlier. Of cos he had no idea that would be his last day there. Kinda made me feel guilty and sad. Since he has actually made several friends over there. And has learned quite a bit too. Well baby, we hope you will fit in just as well in your new school too , okies?

Whoa I was blog surfing and came across an ongoing spat between 2 fellow bloggers. Oh well, to each her own.

Anyway, the last blog i read was my darling cuz's. And I realized I am such a lazy arse. I haven't been uploading so many pictures man. And i took a look at my own and noticed how bare and pathetic it is. Haha.
So I decided to steal some photos from her blog and add them here! Sorry sis.. No idea where the hell the pictures are now.. Aiyohhh

These pictures below were taken at our annual (or is it bi-annual) family BBQ gathering at Parc Oasis. And a chill-out session with my fellow cousins in celebration of their good Os results.

There are still pictures taken at the Finding Nemo show at the Indoor Stadium I have not posted yet. They are stored in Hubby's PDA SD card. So those will have to wait.

By the way, the show was great. I was scared that Hilman may be too young to watch. And that he may be fidgety and cannot keep still. But he was in fact on his best behavior throughout the 2 hrs. It was so obvious he enjoyed the show. Was so excited to see Mickey and Co and of cos Nemo.

Now hopefully he will be just as good throughout the 18 hours journey to the good US of A. Wish us luck!!!
