Whoa it has been a super tight weekend ballz! Had to rush from work to Mom's place. And then met up with Meike. Too bad that nyonya tailor shop was close when we reached there. Oh well, at least i know where this supposedly famous shop is.

Ironic. Before settling down, me & my then-fiance wld travel all the way to JB by bus to send my kain for tailoring. Now even with the luxury of having a car, I am so not bothered to go all the way there to make my bajus.

Still contemplating whether or not to send my kain to this Nyonya Meike recommended. She quoted abt 140 bucks to have it sewn to a kebaya. Hmm like expensive leh!

That's moi alright. Always very spontaneous. And a lot of times ended up paying a lot more than I should. Still remember that stupid tailor at Golden Landmark Complex who practically ruined my Raya mood last yr. As
it is, I paid 95 buckeroos to her. And she ended up delivering my baju malam Raya at almost 12 MN!!

Anway, the highlight of our weekend is celebrating Meike's 22nd Birthday (God, I feel so old!). Totally slacked off at Samar Cafe. Enjoyed the music, food and of cos the great ambience. Oh, and of cos great company too lah. Both me and Hubs were drawn to one of the band members. An old man with this very cute and sweet features. Hehe. Coincidentally he sang an old Hindi song which I happened to like.

A miserable attempt to look "fierce" for the camera. Haha..

At the centre is the old man me and Hubs find very cute.

Afterwards we went to Kent Ridge Park. It has been years since I went up there. It was the 1st time for the rest of them. We traded couple stories while chilling out at the Lookout Point. That was fun. Haha.. Finally confessed to them how me and Hubs actually met.

The following day went by so quickly I hardly had time to breathe. Rushed to the gym for training and rushed back home. And then rushed to JB's Jusco. 1st time Hil did not cry when we pulled him out from one of those token machines. Probably that's cos there were so many others around him that he got confused. Hehe. And when I accompanied him for the merry-go-round, Papa and Bibik said his face was so kejong. Kiak kiak kiak. Like your Yai / Nyai lah, boboi!! Scared of rides. Muz bring him to more of such places.

Reminds me, we haven't been to Forum for so long. Must utilise since we have paid for Hil's membership fees.

Next weekend we will be busy with Daly's wedding. And the weekend after, I have big plans for Hubs for his b'day. Last yr, we spent yr b'day at KKH when poor Hil got warded for high fever. This yr, hopefully if there are no glitches, I will make it up to you, yeah baby?

Doubt I will have the energy to post anything anytime soon. So Meike, Happy 22nd B'day in advance! We'll try go for our Food Binge before puasa starts, okies?

We went to catch the Fireworks last nyte. It was spectacular! We reckoned the nearby carparks would be packed. So we took Abang A'uh's advice and parked at the ICA Building in Lavender and took the train down to City Hall. Everyone was rushing from the City Hall station to the Esplanade where thousands have already gathered.

There was no time for us to get dinner as i knocked off late. So we had to be contented to have some alas perut al fresco at the small park just outside the Esplanade compound.

Hil was mesmerized with the fireworks. The moment the fireworks started, he sat down in awe appreciating the beautiful view in front of him. Soaking in the atmosphere like everyone else. He too gave a loud applause after the show ended.

Back home, Hubs was so sweet as to surprise me with a gift. He got his colleague who just came back from Philippines to buy me the Victoria Secret's body spray. Never actually smelled it before. But he's right! The smell is Hmmmm... Heavenly... Perfect to put on after showers. And the smell lasted for almost the whole nyte.

Check out that purple bottle. Thaaat's the one... The famous VS body spray SIA Engineering men are raving abt!

Anyway, no plans for today yet. But i have a strong gut feeling we will be heading to the Esplanade again tonight. And I am having this very strong craving for Ayam Penyet. Let's see if I can convince him to go Lucky Plaza for dinner. Hehe..

Me with Baby Hannah

Hilman's been getting more & more friends lately. And mind you, all are babes! In June, we had Baby Ismira born into this big, big world - a petite lil one who looks just like her Kakak Isadora. In July, we have Baby Shaniz & Baby Danisha. And just last wk, gorgeous little Baby Hannah was born. Just went to visit her last nyte. So adorably cute!!! Gave me 3 huge grins when I carried her. Like she knows how i yearn for a baby girl of my own :)

Hilman was happily playing ard with Kakak Amal. Ironic that he can bond with her so quickly although they dont meet often. And when I was feeding Baby Hannah, he too asked his Bibik for his milk. And when Baby Hannah was full, he too threw away his bottle. Haha cute ryte?? I was happy that unlike most babies, he was not jealous when his Mama & Papa carry other babies. Or maybe he hasnt come to that stage yet. I dunno..

Anyway, I just gotta know this morning that Siti just gave birth to Baby Alysha last night. A healthy 3.75kg babe, i shld add.

Lucky mommies! All enjoying their 3 mths Maternity Leave and bonding with their beautiful ones. Enjoy it while it lasts , my friends!

As for me, Hilman is getting bigger and bigger by the day. Fuyoohhh.. it is scary to see the rate he is growing. And I am not talking abt physical growth alone. Just half a yr ago, he was learning to crawl. And now, my baby is running and climbing already. These days, he brushed our hands off when we try holding his hands!!! Everyone's been commenting that he is very abang2 now. Need i remind he is only 15 mths! Pretty soon he won't want his Mama to hug or kiss him already. Oh no!! Hilman dearie, pls don't grow so fast!
