Sunset at Puncak Pass

Can't believe i'm here again at Puncak Pass..

after god know how many years...

Gorgeous view, isn't it??

Sunset at Restoran Rindu Alam in Puncak

Hilman feeding carrots to the Elephant

Love this show... so cool.

See how handsome the white tiger is??

Weird.. i was more scared of this cub than

the white tiger... hehe

And So We're Back...
It was a 5D4N trip to Jakarta-Bandung-Puncak. And it was personally one of the best trips i had. A part of my childhood memories consists of the times i went to Jakarta with Meike and her family. Celebrated my birthdays there even. So going there after more than 10 years was like revisiting my childhood days.

We kicked off the trip by shopping in Bogor. Heaven! Everything was so cheap. Although there were only 3 or 4 fashion outlets (FO) , it was enough to excite any woman. We went on to Puncak Pass where we had dinner at Rindu Alam. Food was great and the view was spectacular.

Our 2nd day was basically shopping at Pasar Baru (bought kain for Raya at very cheap price here) and the 4 main FOs in Bandung. Rumah Mode, Heritage, Summit and Donatello. And we had Batagor!!! I was so afraid we wont get to eat them due to the fall in supply of tahu and tempeh to Indonesia. And after all the shopping, we bought Martabak Manis consisting of chocolate rice and cheese. They taste so much better than the ones we have here.

Dinner was at this restaurant up the summit. Forgotten its name. But tell ya... the view was awesome and breathtaking. It was the most romantic place i ever dined at. Imagine dining under the stars and the city way below where you are. And the weather was just perfect. So perfect Hilman refused to wake up to eat. My only complaint here is the CATS~!!!

We checked out from our hotel in Bandung on the 3rd day to head down to Jakarta. We stopped over at Taman Safari in Bogor - one of the highlights of our trip. It was so cool seeing the animals in their natural habitat. And refreshing to see the animals fatter than before. I recall them being so skinny last time. And of cos we had to take pictures with the white tiger, lion cub and baby orangutan. Hilman was game enough to feed the zebras and elephants too. It was a pretty educational trip for the little one. He couldn't stop raving about it. Hehe.. By the time we checked-in our hotel in Jakarta, we were pretty much zonked out. Hence dinner was just room-service.

We started by shopping at Mangga Dua on our 2nd day. And lunch at Ayam Mbok Berek. Although it was pretty much me eating myself. Fithri was falling ill and both of them did not have the appetite to eat. I am blessed to have such a great hubby and son. Despite their being sick , they both didnt whine or complain. The daddy was plagued down with high fever and diarrhea on our last 2 days there. And the boy was suffering from motion sickness throughout the entire trip. My poor babies. I went to Plaza Semanggi by myself to get medications from the pharmacy. (Err also to get donuts from J-Co, rootbeer float from A&W and chicken floss from Breadtalk ;p)

When that didn't help, I called in for a doctor to check on them in the middle of the night. So you can imagine we spent half the time in the hotel room in Jakarta itself. Thank god for room service. And decent food from the kitchens of Hotel Mulia Senayan.

So anyway, we are back. Father and son are recovering. In fact, both are at work and in school. I will be reporting to work only this Saturday. So gonna spend this time resting and catching-up with old friends and doing-up Hilman's room. It's screaming for a makeover. It'll be my new project.. hehe

Now this one is definitely very the basi post. But nevertheless, I shall still put it up. Since i am in the mood to upload all my pixs.. waddahell ;p

First set of photos was taken at his school's Graduation Ceremony in Nov last year. Hilman had to sing along 3 songs with the rest of his classmates.

Unfortunately, his mommy (that would be Moi) forgot all about their rehearsal. So pardon my son for not knowing his steps. But still, the whole thing was so cute!

What're we doing here? Tot u guys said
we're going jalan2. This doesnt't look like
a movie theatre... Hmm

Whatcha looking at?? That's MY toy car u r looking
at...

Oh no! Why is this guy crying??

Err.. now what am I supposed to do here??

YiPPeee!!! It's over!!! It's makan time!!!

This 2nd set was taken during his first Excursion trip to the Children's Animal Farm in Pasir Ris.

Wonder if they have been paired up on purpose?

Notice the same round face, chubby cheeks and oval eyes..

Ahh.. at home I happen to sometimes
call him Pooh Bear.. hehe

Maybe the Bibik needn't have came along after all.

See how well taken care of my son is in the hands of

his cousins?

Home Sweet Home

Btw, Hilman and Bibik managed to catch a dozen fish. But all of them have peacefully died after 2 wks. Err.. guess being fed chilli padi, onions, tissues by Hilman didn't help.

Hey it's the New Year, peeps!! Time for new resolutions. Mine as i've mentioned before - is to lose weight to have a baby :)

Yah yah, i know. Why bother to lose weight when i am gonna gain it all back, right?
Cos i wanna be a pretty sexy Mummy!!! Hehe ;p

So first up is to sign up with a gym with my darling cousin (who has unfortunately been gaining like me) and my girlfriend. Now with 2 babes ard, who needs a personal trainer? Haha..

So gals, dont back out on me!! I'm counting on you!!

I am promising myself i will start dieting after i come back from our short trip later this mth. It's gonna be my last time binge-ing my heart out. So if you wanna ask me out for any makan sessions, you have another 2 wks ;p

Anyone went for the Countdown '08? Awesome fireworks right?? My darling son refused to come along and insisted on watching his Playhouse Disney. But only the mommy knows the ACTUAL reason why he didnt want to come along. Shall spare him the embarassment when he grows up. Kiak kiak kiak ;p
Taken at the poolside at Northoaks.
Family gathering over my Dad's side.
