In Pursuit of Happiness

Spoke to an ex-colleague earlier. She was surprised that I am still with my present job after all these years. Even commented that I have changed?

Did reflect on some of the stuffs she mentioned. And yes i do agree some things aren't as important to me as they were before.

At the end of the day, I just want to be a good mom and a good wife and a good daughter. And along the way, I hope to be a good employee and a good friend to everyone I know.

I admit sometimes i want nothing more than to be a SAHM. To be a full-time mother. But hey, who am i kidding? I can't cook for nuts. Hate doing the laundry. My husband laughs at my ironing skills. A domestic goddess, I am not. That much i am sure.

So that leaves me where i am. And yes, I am happy. Although I am still not 100% satisfied. But i hope to get there someday.

Anyway, to all my other mommy mates, Happy Mothers' Day! :)

Cheers @ 9:42 PM
