Bali - The Land of Paradise

So we are back. It has been a gorgeous and beautiful trip. I am still on holiday mode actually. Wait till i am back at work tomorrow. That's when reality will sink in. Yucks.

The vacation was like a dream. It wasn't our 1st time going to Bali. But going there together was like so perfect. It was just so gorgeous.

Since we only had 5 days, we chose to spend most of our time in Kuta and Ubud. And both turned out to be great. Kuta was a shopping haven for the husband. And it was a great place for me to soak in the local atmosphere when we first arrived.

And Ubud... wow where do i even begin?? From the fantastic villa the husband has chosen. Very romantic i tell ya.. And with its peaceful and serene atmosphere. And it helps that shopping was great for me. Bought several sundresses at very cheap prices. Even the dogs didn't bug me as much as i had expected.

And in between, we managed to visit the beautiful Tanah Lot and the gorgeous Uluwatu temples and the breathtaking Kintamani. I know. I keep repeating myself here. But seriously, if there are 3 words to describe Bali - they would be GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL and GORGEOUS. Haha.. u guys get the drift.

So for those wanting a great vacation which wouldn't burn a hole in your pockets, i would recommend Bali anytime. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it had us deciding our next trip will be for 2 weeks. Haha..

As for Hilman Faiz, the highlights of the trip were definitely the hotels, the monkeys and the dogs. Oh yah.. and the kecak dance :)
