EMOTIONAL ME
It's that time of the year again where we will be celebrating 2 occasions. Hence we have naturally been busy these days.
1st Occasion: Hilman Faiz's 3rd Birthday on 29th April 08 (Party's on May 1st)
So far, we have 17 kids and 20++ adults confirmed attending for his birthday bash. So for those invited, hope to see you guys there okies? And for those who haven't, do confirm asap. Thks!
Venue: McD at King Albert's Park (Party Room)
Date: 1st May 08
Time: 3 - 4.45pm. But guests with kids need to be there by 2.45pm.
Makan: Free for kids only. Adults may place their orders over the counters. Haha.. joking. Place your orders with the Employees of The Day - Fithri & Farin
Theme: Superheroes!!! (We aren't mean. Kids can wear anything cartoonish imprinted on their bajus)
(Note for those driving: Parking's free for the 1st hour and $1.60 for the subsequent hour or part thereof)
Sorry that we only had the time to send out invites by SMS only. We have the cards already (courtesy of McD) but simply no time to compile all the addresses and what nots. Reason why we have been busy?
....The 2nd Occasion: Our 4th Wedding Anniversary on May 1st
We (as in moi and hubby) will be going to Bali the following day. It's gonna be a short trip - just 5 days and 4 nights. Actually it's shorter than that cos we will be taking an evening flight out.
Been checking out the Net which areas to go to and the accommodation etc. Till now, we have only booked the flight tickets. Hehehe...
Quite surprised that almost all the villas we both like are all full. Since May is considered an off-peak period. Damn the Ozzies ;p
Anyway, it is my 1st time going away without my precious little one. It breaks my heart. Really. But well, i need to be fair to my hubby and our marriage as well.
In fact this is only the 2nd time we are going on a trip on our own. 1st time was our NZ honeymoon obviously. And all the trips after that was with Hilman. Kesian right?
This is the main reason why i decided to make Hilman's birthday party this year extra special.I don't believe in lavish and extravagant birthday parties. Would rather spend that money on other stuffs really. So yah this is my own way to make it up to him.
In fact, I have spoken to Hilman once that after his party , his Mama and Papa have to go away for a short while. And he and his Bibik will be spending time with his Yai and Nyai and his 2 uncles. In which his reply to me was, "Mama follow Hilman to Yai's house also, ok?" And those few times he saw pictures of aeroplanes and swimming pools and hotels on the pc screen, he got so excited as well. It's only gonna be a matter of time before he puts 2 and 2 together. Sigh. Why do i feel guilty? Maybe it is the 1st time..
Spoken to other mommies about this. And they assured me what i'm feeling is completely natural. But once I am there, I will realize and appreciate the quality time with the hubby. So yah, i am looking forward to that.
